Why?

Since my early 20's I have been intrigued with geometric design, especially interlacing styles such as Celtic, Roman, Chinese, and especially Islamic. Over centuries Islamic designers took this type of design into another dimension. My specific interest to make actual objects with the additional challenge of being able to do this efficiently.
